Mare has surrendered to serve the Great Mother. As a Gaia Communicator & High Priestess, Visionary, Healer and Author, she has deeply committed to help midwife the New Earth coming in now. Mare also works spiritually with the Virgin Mary, Mary Magdalene, Christ Consciousness, the 21 Taras and some other ascended masters. Some might call her a Medicine Woman, Mystic or LoveWorker. Her Spirit Team includes a Council of Divine Beings in the Omni-Cosmos called Oona & Oon's Councils (who include the 'Family of One'). Mare is also the Visionary behind the 1000 Goddesses Gathering Global Grid and leads a "Great Mother Love Way" year-long training.

Those more from the Christian realms might compare her to St. Francis of Assisi, with some of her gifts though she would never consider herself to be of his level of spiritual stature.
She loves to commune with all things natural. And Mother Gaia has given her the gift to tune in to places all over our Sacred Earth to discern the energies at those distant spots. She sat on the World Council for Wisdom Gatherings for three years and is the visionary behind 1000 Goddesses Gathering Global Grid, along with the Great Mother Wisdom Gathering in 2014 in Maryland. In the winter of 2018, she hosted the highly educational and enlightening webcast series of interviews with quite gifted animal, plant, nature spirit and Sasquatch communicators: Voices from Gaia (now available for Free on YouTube).
Mare has a Masters in Natural Resources from the University of Michigan, and an undergraduate degree in Biology-Environmental Studies from St. Lawrence University. She co-led an award-winning international environmental network out of Ann Arbor, Michigan with the prominent global leader in Environmental Education, Bill Stapp. Spiritually guided to heal her ongoing depression and not continue an intensive workaholic lifestyle, Mare moved back to Maryland, her home state, in 1994 to garden professionally and write while still dabbling a bit in the environmental realms. She trained in "The Natural Step Framework" and offered sustainability training to those in the building industry in the late 90's, and worked contractually on regional environmental projects in the Mid-Atlantic region several centuries ago.
In 1997, Mare began studying with a Cherokee teacher and found the wisdom and healing energies she had been seeking all of her life. After apprenticing for 14 years with that one teacher, she has since studied with medicine people from the following tribes: Shoshone, Hawaiian, Mohawk, Algonquin, Lakota, Okanogan/Cherokee and several other gifted mentors.
In addition to her writing and events, Mare was told by one Native Elder that she could be considered a Medicine Woman. She has a healing practice offering her gifts as an intuitive empath and shamanic practitioner who works multi-dimensionally to provide healing support to her clients. She loves to help people release old spiritual, psychological wounds and grow spiritually, to connect in more sacred ways with themselves and with our Sacred Earth. Mare's story:
Where this information comes from is our Planetary Caretaker ~ Mother Gaia. Messages from Mother.... Earth Mother was written in only five weeks in the summer of 2012. I was focused on a completely different book and Mother came into my spirit body in a significant way after a powerful ceremony in early June, 2012. She informed me that was the book I was meant to write at that time. I had just been diagnosed with lymphoma and essentially surrendered to Mother to write that book. The cancer started to go into remission during the same time period.
At times Mother Gaia (or Spirit) will just do that.
Then in late fall, 2013, I was informed in a rather direct way by Mother that I was to write The Great Mother Bible during the winter of 2014. I had surrendered and complied (this was the commitment I made to her when she told me she would help me heal from the lymphoma without the doctors!).
As I understand it, for most of our human existence many peoples across the planet could listen to Spirit. The plants told the native healers about their medicinal properties. The stones shared their stories of ancient, ancient times and stored memories. The trees spoke of a wisdom that only trees, or standing ones, as the Native peoples say, could know.
When someone learns to listen on the Spirit Planes then Spirit will begin to talk and you can tune in to receive the wisdom. When Spirit starts to communicate with you, it is a humbling experience and you realize that we two-leggeds have a strange illusory slice of the greater reality of Life. (It is always wise to be discerning as to who you are listening to also! I teach my clients about this.)
You could say I’ve learned how to listen. Essentially I’m a nature mystic/Gaia Priestess and everything talks to me just about when I tune into it.
I’ve spent twenty-five years studying with Native American teachers (along with some other very gifted teachers) and listening to the land, the stones, the flowers, ancestors and more. For most of those years, I’ve had a professional gardening business based on an approach I call Sacred Gardening. We tended the gardens from a place of reverence and love for the plants and nature spirits.
My background is also in environmental work. I was a National Park Service Ranger in the Grand Canyon and Alaska in my early twenties and later received my Masters in Natural Resources (University of Michigan), which evolved into international environmental work in the 1990s. Then my work shifted into part-time professional gardening, while also leading workshops about environmental sustainability on the corporate level, along with contractual environmental work in the Mid-Atlantic region.
It is truly from the outdoor space of hiking and gardening plus adopting more of a Native American worldview that allowed my listening as a mystic to develop. It’s most challenging to learn how to listen in an office setting.
I am not unique and not really very special. There are so many people waking up and learning how to tune in to the wisdom of the plants, trees and stones. These are hopeful signs in these interesting times.
My first book is called If I gave you God’s phone number…. Searching for Spirituality in America. So it’s easy to conclude that I’m open to the concept of communicating with the spiritual realms, the realms of the mystics.
I believe Spirit has messages for us all if we learn to honor this wisdom from our spiritual guides, and just stop to listen. Sometimes it might even be Earth Mother communicating. Surrendering to their wisdom is one of the wisest paths to take (though it is most wise to ensure that the ones speaking with you from the Spirit realms are serving the Highest Good for Divine Plan Alignment - and of the Christ, etc.)
Plus we are all being called to be Mid-Wives of the New World coming in at this time. My primary purpose is to help wake people up and come back to the LoVE of Mother Gaia to help actively bring forth this New World with Love and Grace, and Joy, and deep healing on all levels.
